ADVANCED HEAT PUMP TECHNOLOGY
All-Electric Heat Pumps That Don’t Need Backup Heat
Most heat pumps in the Upstate lose capacity as the temperature drops, then lean on electric strip heat to keep up — the “AUX” or “EM HEAT” light you see on a January morning. That strip heat costs three to four times as much to run as the heat pump itself, and it’s why so many all-electric homes here get a winter bill that doesn’t match the mild climate.
Mitsubishi Hyper-Heat systems are engineered to hold their full rated heating capacity down to 5°F and keep running well below that. In Greenville and Spartanburg Counties, that means the strip heat never needs to exist.

COLD MORNING PERFORMANCE
Full Heating Capacity When It Actually Gets Cold Here
A conventional heat pump’s output falls off fast below 40°F — right where the Upstate spends most winter nights. Inverter-driven compressors and flash-injection technology let Hyper-Heat systems ramp up instead of tapping out, delivering the same heat at 17°F that they deliver at 47°F.
No Strip Heat
Full capacity to 5°F means no electric resistance backup, no auxiliary heat cycles, and no January bill spike.
Sized for Summer,
Strong in Winter
Upstate systems have to be sized for cooling and humidity. Hyper-Heat delivers winter capacity without oversizing the system for the other nine months.
One System, Every Season
Efficient cooling and dehumidification in July, dependable heat in January — from one piece of equipment.

FEATURED INSTALLATION
2-Zone Hyper-Heat
Bedroom Installation
This home had two second-floor bedrooms that struggled year-round, including one with no heat source at all. A Mitsubishi Hyper-Heat ductless system gave both rooms efficient cooling in summer and full-capacity heating in winter with no supplemental heat. Installed in Minnesota, where it faces conditions far harsher than anything the Upstate sees — the same equipment I install here.
VISIONAIRY DESIGN APPROACH
System Design Makes the Difference
Heat pump performance in a humid climate depends on getting the sizing right. Oversized systems short-cycle, never dehumidify properly, and leave a house cool but clammy in summer. Undersized systems fall back on strip heat in winter.
VisionAiry designs every system around the home’s actual cooling load, latent load, and heating requirement — so it runs long, quiet cycles in summer and holds capacity in winter without backup.
Precision Load Calculations
Proper system sizing ensures the heat pump operates efficiently while maintaining comfortable indoor temperatures.

Clean Professional Installation
Every installation is completed with attention to airflow design, system performance, and long-term reliability.
